The Board of Trustees strongly urges you to comply with the following:

  • Determine if the Water Connection Fee is paid as certification of payment is required in order to obtain a building permit. The Secretary of Treasures office of this organization issues the Water Connection Certificate.

  • A complete set of plans, an elevation map of the subdivision, and the Water Connection Certificate must be supplied first to the Aspen Mountain Board of Trustees and then to the Summit County Planning Commission as one package.

  • Prior to your contractor commencing construction, he must request Blue State Service, and advise the Board of Trustees. The Board is the ONLY INFORMATION SOURCE REGARDING THE LOCATION OF OUR WATER LINES. Break it and you pay.

  • A property restoration fee deposit of $500.00 must be paid prior to the commencement of work. The deposit is refundable if, following completion of the work, all trash, and building scraps, are removed, and damage to roads and culverts are repaired. Additional charges to be made in the event it becomes necessary to hire trucks, and front end loaders, plus payment of land fill fees.

  • It is imperative that a water PRV (Pressure Valve Reducer) be installed inside your home.

  • The Plumbing Code and the Utah Public Drinking Water Rules require that all cross connections be eliminated or protected against backflow by installing an approved backflow device or assembly.

  • DO NOT DEPOSIT TRASH & BUILDING MATERIALS ON NEARBY LOTS.
